My name is Cristin More, and I’m an in-home photographer and educator.

I’ve brought my knowledge of in-home photography to conference rooms around the country, and decided it was time to make it more accessible to photographers everywhere.

My goal is to help photographers feel confident shooting indoors no matter what challenges may arise and to help them grow (or start!) their in-home businesses. While my work focuses on joyful images with true-to-life color, my aim is to help you succeed, no matter what your style.

This informational video-based course details everything that makes my in-home sessions so successful, from prep, to gear, to the session itself, to post-session and marketing. ⁣

We don't just talk about sessions, though, you'll actually see one! This course features behind the scenes videos of one of my signature sessions with a family of five in a dark, 700 sq ft apartment.

Not only will you have lifelong access to all of the content in the course, as well as any future updates, you'll also be added to a group of fellow participants where you can ask questions, share sessions and form bonds within the photography community.

Here are some of the things that are included:

Session Prep Module

From gear to how to hype up and prepare clients for the session, I take you through everything I do before my sessions to make them a success.

Session Information Module

This detailed section walks you through everything I do during my sessions in general, and breaks down the differences between in-home family sessions, day in the life sessions and newborn sessions in-home.

Post-Session Module

In this module, I cull an entire session for you, as well as talk about my editing and culling process, and how to market yourself to attract in-home clients that you’ll love.

Behind the Scenes

One of the best parts of any course, in my opinion, is seeing photographers in action! I wanted to make sure everyone could see exactly how I handle my in-home shoots, so in this module, you’ll see a full in-home session with little twin girls and a two-year-old boy in a tiny, dark apartment in San Francisco. The session is anything but perfect behind the scenes, and you’ll get to watch me troubleshoot all of the issues that arise.

In-Home Challenge

You can take all the photography courses in the world, but you won’t get anything out of them without practice. I’ve included a challenge to help you practice the concepts you learned throughout the course and get you started down the in-home photography path.

Community

Once you enroll in the course, you’ll be added to a Facebook Group of your peers. In that group, we share sessions, ask questions, and lean on one another to help lift everyone up. This is a living, breathing course, which also means that in that group, you can ask for sections to be added to the course and help provide input to help it serve you best!

“This course is 11/10! I would highly recommend Cristin's course to any level photographer. I think the most important takeaway I got from her, besides awesome technical tips and creative ideas, is not to be afraid of an in-home session EVER. Light is key as you know in photography and she showed me ways to photograph homes with very little light. It was so valuable!!! I show up to each of my client sessions even more confident than before. Plus Cristin is hilarious, who wouldn't want that for a teacher?!”

—Amy

“Soooo happy that I took this course, it has made me look at in home sessions so differently and I am loving what I am capturing! Did an in-home newborn this morning with a super active almost 2 year old. Thinking about everything Cristin showed in the session videos and talked about with camera settings made it work.”

— Emily

“The course covered all the basics you need to have a successful in-home session, with a great amount of detail. I absolutely loved the video format! It made it feel so much more personal and really allowed for a more connected experience. My in-home sessions after taking this course have been more amazing, not only using the tips Cristin provided, but because she uses her knowledge and heart to really give you more confidence in how beautiful of a gift you are offering!

Hi! I’m Cristin.

I'm an award-winning family and newborn photographer, educator and profanity enthusiast. I work primarily in San Francisco and Marin County, but I'm available for travel worldwide. I live in North Marin with my family, which includes a million houseplants and two daughters, who are hell-on-wheels.

I've photographed hundreds of families and babies over the years and have taken pictures in homes and hospital rooms big and small throughout the country. Give me one tiny window, a family full of love, and some chaos and I'm there.

I've had the privilege of teaching photographers from all over the world about the joys of in-home photography. I'm so excited to be bringing that content to you to learn in the comfort of your own home

.I can't wait to meet you!
